No deposit bingo: free rooms, bingo bonuses and what remains of them in 2026
Online bingo arrived a few years after the online casinos (around 2003, in the memory of the trade), and for a decade it was a business of its own, with rooms that opened and closed by the dozen and "networks" that shared players and prizes. Free bingo: how a room gives the game away
A bingo room sells "tickets" (a card of fifteen or twenty-five numbers, at a few cents or a few dollars each), draws the balls (seventy-five or ninety, according to the variant) and pays the prizes out of the tickets sold, keeping a share for itself; its free offers all work on that mechanism. The oldest is the "free room", whose tickets cost nothing and whose prizes (a few dollars a game) are funded by the operator at set hours of the day.
The free room is often reserved for "funded players" (those who have made at least one deposit) or for newcomers, in a "newbie room" open for the first days (often seven) after registration. Beside it stand the "free tickets" (a fixed number of cards in a named game), the no deposit credit of a few dollars of "bonus funds" and the "bingo freeroll", a game with a guaranteed pot and no entry fee, which is the cousin of the poker freeroll described on our page on no deposit poker.
The wagering of a bingo bonus, and how it differs from a casino bonus
A bingo bonus is kept apart from the cash balance and can be spent only on tickets, which is the first difference from a casino chip. Its "wagering" (the volume of tickets to buy before a withdrawal) is a multiple of the bonus that is usually low: where a room sets it at four times, a player who receives $10 of bonus must buy $40 of tickets (four times ten), that is four hundred tickets at ten cents, against the $400 that a casino chip of $10 under forty times requires.
The low multiple is not a gift, because the room's "house edge" is built into the tickets. A room that returns seventy per cent of the ticket sales as prizes keeps thirty, while a slot returns ninety-five or ninety-six per cent of the bets (its "RTP", the return to player), so that a player who spends $40 of tickets in such a room receives $28 of prizes on average, and the winnings of bonus tickets go back to the bonus balance until the volume is complete. It is a slower way of losing the same money!
The "max cashout" (the ceiling on what can be withdrawn from winnings made with free money) exists in bingo as in the casinos, commonly in the region of $100 on no deposit credits, and so does the deadline (seven days, as a rule). Where the same site gives a "games bonus" for its slots, that bonus carries the casino's own multiple (thirty, forty, fifty times), and the two balances are tracked separately.
The three ways bingo appears in an online casino today
In a casino, bingo is a game against the house rather than against other players, in one of three forms. The "video bingo" is a solo game with a paytable and a return to player printed like a slot's, in which the player buys up to a hundred cards and the machine draws the balls at once; our review of Roaring Twenties Bingo, a game of this kind played in demo, describes it with its three "progressive" jackpots.
The second form is keno (the lottery of eighty numbers that our keno page explains), and the third is "Slingo" (a hybrid in which a reel of five numbers is spun under a bingo card and the lines completed pay the prizes). All three are casino games, and the "free spins" or free credits given on them are casino bonuses, with the casino's wagering of thirty to fifty times and its "contribution" table, not bingo bonuses.
Why the rooms closed their doors
The bingo rooms that survive are, above all, British: the Gambling Act 2005 and the Gambling Commission gave the game a regulated market in which the big brands and the networks concentrated, and a room licensed there cannot accept a player who connects from elsewhere. Ireland, Spain and Italy followed with national licences of their own, and the international market was left with casinos that keep a bingo corner rather than with rooms.

The honest limits of this list

It is not checked every week, and a card is an offer published at a given date, so where it disagrees with the operator's page, the operator's page is right.
