No-deposit casino bonuses and free spins in Europe, 2026

Europe is where the online casino settled when it left the Caribbean, first in Malta (from 2007) and in Gibraltar, then under the national licences that one country after another created to keep the operators, and their taxes, at home. This page collects the free offers in euro of the operators that we work with, and it says what a licence from Malta is worth in Berlin or Stockholm.

The cards carry the offer that the operator's page printed when we last read it, a "free chip" or a handful of "free spins" on a slot the house chose, and the casino's terms outrank ours. Every house was opened in "demo" mode, on virtual credits and without a deposit, except Casino Classic and Jackpot City, played for real money before 2025 by our collaborators in two Canadian markets.

Markets

Markets: the operators listed on our pages address the international, non-regulated market and do not hold a licence in every country from which our readers arrive: before registering, it is the player's responsibility to check that the law of the country in which he or she is located allows playing with that operator.

European regulation, in one honest paragraph

There is no European licence. Gambling was left out of the single market by the Court of Justice (from Gambelli in 2003 to Liga Portuguesa in 2009), which allows each member state to restrict the games on its territory, and since December 2017 the European Commission no longer opens infringement cases on gambling. The result is a continent of national licences, one per country, each with its own register, taxes and rules on bonuses.

Malta was the first "hub", under the authority that became the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), and its "remote gaming" licence remains the most common on this page. It is a serious licence, but it covers Malta and the countries that have not regulated the game, not the ones that have.

Sweden (Spelinspektionen, since 1 January 2019), Denmark (Spillemyndigheden, since 1 January 2012), Germany (the GGL, under the State Treaty of 2021), Italy (ADM, whose "concessions" have covered online casinos since July 2011), Spain (DGOJ, under the law of 2011) and France (the ANJ, which licenses betting and poker and not casino games) each require their own licence from an operator that addresses their residents.

In those countries only a nationally licensed operator may be offered to the public, and a site like ours that promoted an unlicensed one to their residents would break their law. The houses listed here serve the international market, and which version of a site answers a reader is decided by the country of connection; nothing on this page is legal advice.

What the national rules do to a bonus

The licence decides not only who may take a player but what may be offered to him or her. Sweden allows a licensee one bonus per customer, at the first occasion of play, and nothing after, while Germany caps the stake on an online slot at €1 a spin and the deposits of a player at €1,000 a month across every licensed operator.

Spain has forbidden the "welcome bonus" to new customers since 2021, Italy has forbidden the advertising of gambling altogether since 2019, Denmark runs ROFUS, a national "self-exclusion" register, and France has no online casino to regulate, since its law stops at poker and betting. A reader who sees an offer here that the licensed sites of his or her country do not make is looking at the international market.

Our three filters, and the licence each house declares

The three filters are the same on every list: the licence, which is read on the regulator's register rather than in the footer, the terms, which are read for each offer, and the "demo" mode, which is opened in each "lobby" (the catalogue of games) and its "cashier".

Games Global (All Slots, Euro Palace, Jackpot City, Royal Vegas) declares the MGA, the Casino Rewards group (Casino Kingdom, Casino Classic, Quatro) Malta or Kahnawake, 888 Casino Gibraltar beside Malta, and Lucky Days Malta for much of the continent, with other licences by region. Spin Genie and Prime Slots, two brands of Skill On Net Limited (licence MGA/CRP/171/2009/01), declare Malta and, for the British site, the Gambling Commission. Those are the first-rank licences.

Three cards add a national licence, by their own account. Videoslots, a Maltese company since 2011, lists Sweden, Denmark, Italy and Spain beside its Maltese and British licences, while DrückGlück, the German-facing brand of Skill On Net, has held since January 2023 a GGL licence for online slots, and Genting Casino, the online arm of the British casino group, names the Gambling Commission. Ice36 declares the Malta Gaming Authority, with Skill On Net as its operator.

Mega Casino and Prime Casino gave us no licence to read in the footer that answered in October 2026 (another may answer elsewhere) and keep an "offshore" rating until a register says otherwise. The Rooster Partners houses (RoosterBet, Lucky7even, Spinjo), Ozwin of the Deckmedia group, the Affilirise houses (Cazimbo, Spinrollz, Gomblingo), Fairspin, Weiss and Zodiac Bet declare a Curaçao-class licence, or none that a public register could show.

Warning

A licence from Curaçao certifies that a company exists and has paid for a permit; it does not give the player a regulator that answers complaints within a set time, an obligation to keep player funds apart from the company's, or a public register of sanctions. Our rating for these houses stays between two and a half and three and a half, whatever the size of the free offer. Real money belongs, in our view, to the houses with a first-rank licence named in our guide to legit online casinos.

Free spins, free chances and the "88": what the cards offer

The free offer here is mostly "free spins": RoosterBet's three hundred, Spin Genie's one hundred and eight, one hundred at Ozwin, Fairspin and Weiss, fifty at Jackpot City and All Slots, Prime Casino's thirty, Mega Casino's twenty, Videoslots' eleven "welcome spins" and Prime Slots' ten. Each batch sits on one slot that the house chooses, at a stake that it fixes (as a rule ten or twenty cents).

Older than the spins are the Casino Rewards "free chance" (Casino Kingdom, Casino Classic), a single spin on a slot carrying a "progressive" jackpot, credited at registration, and 888 Casino's "88", the oldest free offer in the trade (see our 888 Casino review).

A card marked "ND" carried no free offer when the page was read and shows the ordinary "welcome bonus", a "match" (the house adds a share of the first deposit) with spins on top, as at Royal Vegas, Euro Palace or Lucky7even. The figures are the operators', which can change the morning after our reading; your registration screen shows the ones that count.

A hypothetical player in euro, from the chip to the withdrawal

A "free chip" of €10 shows the multiple at its barest. With a "wagering" of fifty times (the bets that the house wants before paying you) the player must put €500 through the games, and with thirty times, which the houses licensed in Malta print more often than the offshore ones, €300: two hundred euro less for the same chip!

Twenty spins of €0.10 each make two euro of play, and if they return €8, credited as "bonus money" (a second balance, apart from the cash until the wagering ends), forty times means €320 of bets before a euro can be withdrawn, and sixty times, the multiple of many offshore houses, €480! The "playthrough", as the casinos call it, is the line to read first.

Above the multiple stands the "max cashout", which is the ceiling on what free money may become: €100 of ceiling turns an account of €250 into €100 at the withdrawal, and the €150 above it are removed. It is in the terms, rarely on the card.

Three smaller clauses decide whether the volume is ever reached: the "contribution" table (a euro on a slot counts as a euro, on blackjack as ten or twenty cents, on roulette often as nothing), the "max bet" that applies while the bonus is live (often €5 a spin) and the deadline, seven days on many free offers. Our world list goes through each with figures, the free spins page through what belongs to the spins alone.

Where this list stops

The site serves the same page to every visitor, so this one cannot tell where you have opened it, and it leaves out the national brands of each market (the Italian, Spanish or Swedish sites that residents should use). Nor is it re-read every week.

A card is two checked facts, an offer as the operator published it on a given date and a licence verified where a register existed; the method, and how the affiliate commission reaches us, are on the About page, and the FAQ page answers what readers ask us most.

Frequently asked questions

No: each member state licenses the game on its own territory, and the Court of Justice allows it to restrict operators licensed elsewhere, so a licence from Malta covers Malta and the countries that have not regulated the game, while Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Spain and France require their own.

In those countries only a nationally licensed operator may address the public, and the licensed sites follow national rules on bonuses (a €1 stake and a €1,000 monthly deposit limit in Germany, no advertising of gambling at all in Italy since 2019). Whether a resident may register with an operator listed here is a question for the law of that country.

The multiple printed in the terms, applied to the chip or to the winnings from the spins: twenty spins that return €8 under a wagering of forty times require €320 in bets, with the games weighted as the "contribution" table says, and a ceiling of €100 commonly applies to what can be withdrawn from free money.

By their own account, Videoslots (Sweden, Denmark, Italy and Spain, beside Malta and Britain), DrückGlück (online slots in Germany, from the GGL, since January 2023) and Genting Casino (the Gambling Commission). The others declare Malta, Kahnawake or Gibraltar, or an offshore licence of the Curaçao class, and the register of each authority is the place to check before registering.

Because the version of the site that answers a player depends on the country of connection, and the licence, the currency and the bonus rules change with it, so that the offer on a card may not be shown to you at all.

Two of them, Jackpot City and Casino Classic, were played with real money by our collaborators from two Canadian markets before 2025, as their reviews tell. Every other casino on this page was tried by the editorial team in demo mode, with virtual credits and without a deposit.

Europe gives the player, in our view, the best regulators and the most fragmented map, so that the first question is never the size of the free offer but which licence covers the country from which he or she plays; the multiple, the ceiling and the days come after. 18+, and whether a person where you are may play with these operators is for that country's law to say, not for us.
