Luxury Casino review

Luxury Casino has been online since 2001, by the operator's own account, and belongs to Casino Rewards, the group of Casino Classic, Zodiac, Captain Cooks, Grand Mondial, Yukon Gold and a dozen other houses that share one loyalty programme, one cashier and one way of writing an offer. Two former brands of the group, Colosseum Casino and Phoenician Casino, have closed, and their addresses now lead to Luxury Casino, which inherited their players.

We tried it in "demo" mode (free play, without depositing), as with every casino on this site but two, and read its terms. This review describes the group and its licences (the Malta Gaming Authority, Kahnawake and iGaming Ontario, as this page records), the welcome package of up to $1,000 over five deposits and the "wagering" of two hundred times on its first two stages, the games, the payments as published and the reasons for a rating of 3.5 out of 5.

Who stands behind Luxury Casino

Casino Rewards is one of the oldest groups of the trade, born around 2000 with the first casinos of the Microgaming platform. It has kept the same formula for a quarter of a century: a dozen brands with a shared "VIP" programme, in which the points earned at one house count at all the others, and welcome offers written in the same hand. Luxury, with its black and gold, is the group's attempt at the upper end of the market.

The footer of the site reached from where we write names Apollo Entertainment Ltd, a company of Malta (registration C 45483), with the certificate of the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and the seal of eCOGRA, the auditor of the games and of the payout reports. Which company and which licence cover a given player depends on the country from which he or she connects. The footer of the version shown is the one that counts.

Licences, security and the complaints path

The Maltese licence brings what that regime brings: player funds kept apart from the company's, games "certified" by approved laboratories, and a complaints procedure that ends with the player support unit of the MGA once the casino's own has been exhausted. Kahnawake (the Mohawk territory near Montreal, host of gaming servers since 1999) hears disputes through a form on the site of its Gaming Commission, and it is the historical licence of this group.

In Ontario the AGCO registers the operator and iGaming Ontario runs the market, with the rule that bonuses may not be advertised off the operator's own site, which is why our Ontario page speaks of regulation and not of offers. A reader in that province should take the figures below as a description of other markets, not as an invitation.

Where your country is served under none of these licences, the markets box below applies, since it is you who must check that the law where you are located allows play. The seal of eCOGRA certifies the games and the monthly payout reports (the "97 per cent" of this page's facts is an average of that kind). It says nothing about the generosity of the terms, which is the part of this house that deserves the most attention.

The welcome offer and the wagering

The first deposit, as published on the operator's page in October 2026, earns a "match" of 100 per cent up to $150 for a minimum deposit of $10, and the package continues over five deposits up to $1,000 in all, with the later stages printed in the operator's promotion terms. The "wagering" (the volume of bets required before a withdrawal) is two hundred times on the first two stages and thirty times on the three that follow, as this page records and as the group's terms put it.

The figures are the operator's published offer at the time of writing and they change by country and by currency; the terms shown at registration prevail over this page. Each stage must be claimed within a set time after registration, which the terms state, and a player who lets it pass has lost nothing but the bonus.

The arithmetic is where two hundred shows its weight. A player who deposits $150 and receives $150, under two hundred times applied to the bonus alone, must place $30,000 in bets (two hundred times one hundred and fifty) before a withdrawal from that bonus, while the same multiple applied to deposit and bonus together, where the terms say so, would require $60,000; a player who takes the three later stages at thirty times owes, for $100 of bonus, $3,000 of bets.

The sense of the package is therefore the opposite of its headline: the first two stages are a long entertainment with a remote chance of a withdrawal, and the three at thirty times are the ordinary bonuses of the trade. A player who wants a bonus to withdraw rather than to play with should therefore look at the later stages and leave the first two alone. The multiple is public, which we note in the operator's favour!

Two further clauses matter: the "max bet" allowed per spin while a bonus is active and the "contribution" table, in which the slots count in full and the tables for a fraction, as our page on welcome bonuses explains with examples. The group's "VIP" points (one for every $10 staked, as published) are credited on every bet, at Luxury and at the other houses alike.

Games and software

The games come from Games Global (the company that took over Microgaming's games business between 2021 and 2022, as our article on Microgaming becoming Apricot tells), in a catalogue that this page counts at some eight hundred and fifty titles, with a handful of Real Dealer tables (recorded dealers rather than streamed ones) and a "live dealer" section smaller than those of the rented catalogues. It is a catalogue of one stable, which is its limit and its coherence.

A player finds the classics of that stable (Thunderstruck II, Immortal Romance, Avalon), the "progressive" network of Mega Moolah and its relatives (the jackpots fed by every bet placed on them), whose running totals are displayed in the "lobby", blackjack, roulette and baccarat in several variants, and video poker. Most titles open in "practice" mode, which is how we tried them, and the "RTP" (the theoretical return to the player) of each slot is printed in its panel.

Payments, limits and times

The "cashier" accepts, as this page records, the cards Visa and Mastercard, Interac (the Canadian bank transfer), the "wallets" Neteller and PayPal, paysafecard, InstaDebit (a Canadian service), the bank transfer and the electronic cheque, in the currency of the version served, with Canadian dollars well supported. The operator publishes two to three days for a withdrawal after the "pending" period (during which a withdrawal can be reversed) and the verification of the account, with a possible fee on the bank transfer.

Nothing here comes from a deposit or a withdrawal of ours, and the public record of this group speaks of slow verifications more often than of refused payments. We would send the identity document and the proof of address at registration, so that the "KYC" check (the identity verification required before paying) does not add days to your first withdrawal, and withdraw to a "wallet" rather than to the bank where the fee applies.

Mobile

Luxury Casino runs in the browser of any modern phone or tablet without an "app" from a store, in what the trade calls "instant play", with the same account as on your computer, beside the installable "client" that the group has kept for the desktop since its first years. The design is the group's, which a player who knows Zodiac or Casino Classic will recognise at once.

Support

Support is published as available "24/7" through "live chat", with e-mail beside it (no telephone is published), and it is the support of the group rather than of the single house, which we report as the operator describes it, since we did not write to it. A player whose complaint support does not settle follows the path above, licence by licence, and keeps the copies (dates, names of the agents, the chats) for the regulator.

Our verdict

Our rating is 3.5 out of 5, and it rests on the licences, on a quarter of a century of operation and on the reputation gathered from public sources, not on a "real-money" test, which we did not make; we tried the casino in demo mode, read its terms and checked the licence printed in its footer. The star and a half withheld are explained by the terms.

On the positive side stand a licence of the first rank (Malta) beside the historical one (Kahnawake) and the Ontario registration for that province, a group that has paid its players since 2001, a loyalty programme that counts across a dozen houses, a cashier with Interac and PayPal where they apply, and a catalogue of character with the Mega Moolah network.

On the negative side stand a wagering of two hundred times on two stages of real-money "matches", a live section smaller than most, a possible fee on the bank transfer and a site that looks its age. The first of these weighs most!

For a player who wants a long-established house, a regulator to write to and the group's points, Luxury is, in our judgement, a sound choice if the first two stages are declined or treated as entertainment; a Canadian player finds on our Canada page the terms of comparison. For a player who wants a bonus to withdraw, the welcome bonuses page lists houses with gentler multiples, and the top 10 puts this one beside its rivals.
